1. Purpose
The lessor provides the lessee, for a fixed period and for the exclusive use of temporary accommodation, a furnished chalet located at 1426, route du col in Vallorcine. The rental is strictly personal and cannot be transferred or sublet.
2. Reservation
The reservation becomes firm when:
The tenant has signed the rental agreement.
A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay has been paid.
These GTC have been accepted.
The balance of the price is due 30 days before arrival.
For any reservation made less than 30 days before the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Prices
Prices are quoted in euros, including all taxes and charges (unless otherwise stated).
Not included: tourist tax, any final cleaning costs, and certain options (linen, beds made, etc.) which will be specified in the contract.
4. Security deposit
A security deposit of €1,500 is required no later than one week before arrival (by uncashed check or bank pre-authorization).
It will be returned within a maximum of 15 days after departure, less any costs for repair or replacement of missing or damaged items.
5. Cancellation
By the tenant:
More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.
Between 30 and 10 days: the deposit is retained by the landlord.
Less than 10 days: no refund, unless the property is re-let on the same terms.
By the lessor:
In the event that it is impossible to provide the accommodation due to force majeure or a serious technical problem, the lessor shall refund all sums paid, without any further compensation.
6. Arrival and departure
Arrival: between 4pm and 7pm (unless otherwise agreed in advance).
Departure: before 10am.
Any unauthorized delay may result in an additional charge of €100.
7. Obligations of the tenant
The tenant agrees to:
Occupy the premises peacefully and with due care.
Respect the maximum occupancy specified in the contract.
Not organize parties or noisy events.
Immediately report any damage or malfunction to the landlord.
Return the accommodation in its original state of cleanliness.
8. Insurance
The tenant must be covered by holiday liability insurance. Proof of insurance may be requested.
9. Inventory
An inventory is carried out by the owner; tenants check it on arrival and report any anomalies within 24 hours of arrival.
10. Force majeure
In the event of an unforeseeable and insurmountable event preventing the performance of all or part of the obligations (natural disaster, pandemic, administrative decision, etc.), neither party shall be held liable.
11. Disputes
These GTC are subject to French law.
Any dispute shall, in the absence of an amicable agreement, be brought before the competent court of the place where the rented property is located.
